In the past, I have often developed concepts for complete systems and for individual components that should be integrated into the overall vehicle system. In my professional life, I have created all types and kinds of electrical circuits of rail vehicles. I have a very good overview of the electrical equipment of the vehicles, especially with metros.
In the past, I have dealt with the following issues, sometimes very intensively:

You would like to increase the frequency of your trains in operation? Change oft train protection system from a "fixed block system" to a "moving block system"? I can advise you and explain to you which changes to your vehicles are necessary.
I can support you in preparing the necessary tender for the electrical equipment of vehicles.
I can also support you in integrating a new train protection system into the vehicles (e.g., concepts for functional circuit diagrams).
Support with the homologation of the vehicles is possible.
You would like to change to driverless and unattended operation? I can advise you extensively on the planning of such a project:
I can support you throughout the entire process of the project, from the preparation of the necessary tender documents for the electrical equipment for the vehicles up to the homologation.
Additional Services:
Handling:
I have been professionally involved with mass transit vehicles for about 40 years. As a project engineer, I mainly have been responsible for the conventional electric technology of many metro vehicles worldwide from various aspects. In addition, I am familiar with multiple units, trams, and buses. I have more than 10 years’ work experience with both vehicle operator and vehicle manufacturer.
From the vehicle point of view, I was able to gain extensive experience in connection with vital train systems, including with driverless and unattended operation (GoA4*). I was involved mainly in the design of conventional electrical safety circuits (up to SIL4) for many vehicles.
Since January 2020, I have been registered consultant, using my extensive work and technical experience to work with and support the development of smaller-scaled projects. For larger-scaled projects, I am a subcontractor in cooperation with ESE GmbH in Braunschweig (www.ese.de).
I am happy and ready to advise and support you in the creation of your electrical engineering concepts for the procurement of new vehicles and for modernisations, e.g., for the retrofitting of CBTC systems.
In addition, I provide support for the creation of documentation and presentations, as well as the creation of drafts for functional electrical circuit diagrams.
* - according to IEC 62290 Grade of Automation level 4, driverless unattended train operation.
